M.D., Ph.D., Head of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Children's Hospital Los Angeles
Dr. Alexander R. Judkins is Pathologist-in-Chief and Executive Director of the Center for Personalized Medicine at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and Associate Professor and Vice Chair of Pathology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Dr. Judkins is internationally recognized as an expert in the diagnosis of pediatric brain tumors. He is leading the CHLA’s precision medicine initiative as the Executive Director of the Center for Personalized Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine in New York and completed his post-graduate medical training at the University of Pennsylvania as a faculty member in the Perelman School of Medicine and Chief of Neuropathology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia until 2010. Dr. Judkins is board certified in anatomic pathology, neuropathology and forensic pathology.
