MATT FRANKLIN

Senior Vice President, Global Marketing, Foundation Medicine

Matt is the senior vice president of global marketing for Foundation Medicine, Inc. in Cambridge, MA.  Matt is responsible for Foundation Medicine’s commercial comprehensive genomic profiling product portfolio including solid tumor, hematologic malignancy and ctDNA solutions.  Prior to his role with Foundation Medicine, Matt served as vice president, global marketing for Boston Scientific’s Interventional Cardiology division and has also held various product development and program management leadership positions in the medical device and telecommunications industries. Matt holds a BA from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.

 

Molecular Decision Support

With the number of cancer patients growing and advances in cancer care growing even faster, we are in need of better, faster, easier tools to facilitate the use of molecular information to guide diagnostic and therapeutic decisions.  This session will focus on how technology is being used to organize, visualize, and streamline the delivery of clinico-genomic information in “virtual tumor boards” and connect patients to emerging therapies through “smart clinical trial” initiatives.
